An Egyptian court postponed its verdict and sentence in the trial of ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi, who is charged with spying for Qatar.

قضت محكمة جنايات القاهرة، السبت، بالسجن المؤبد على الرئيس المصري الأسبق محمد مرسي، والإعدام لـ 6 متهمين آخرين، لإدانتهم بالتخابر مع قطر.
ويحق لمرسي الذي عزل في يوليو 2013 الطعن على الحكم أمام محكمة النقض، أعلى محكمة مدنية مصرية، وبإمكان المحكمة إلغاء الحكم والأمر بإعادة المحاكمة أمام دائرة أخرى في محكمة جنايات القاهرة.
وصدرت في السابق عدة أحكام في قضايا مختلفة على مرسي المنتمي لجماعة الإخوان، بينها الإعدام.
