هبطت طائرة قطرية من نوع “بوينغ 777” اضطراريا في قاعدة لاجيس الجوية في جزر الأزور التابعة للبرتغال، الأحد، بسبب اضطرابات جوية، مما أدى إصابة عدد من الركاب.
وكانت الطائرة التابعة لشركة الخطوط القطرية في رحلة بين واشنطن والدوحة، عندما تم تحويل وجهتها نحو الساعة السابعة بتوقيت غرينتش نحو لاجيس في جزيرة دي ترسيرا، التي تشكل جزءا من جزر الأزور في المحيط الأطلسي.
وقال متحدث باسم القاعدة الجوية إن “جميع الركاب نقلوا إلى فندق على أن يغادروا صباح الاثنين”، مضيفا أن عددا منهم “أصيبوا بجروح طفيفة خلال الاضطرابات” الناتجة من سوء الأحوال الجوية.
وقال مسؤول في الدفاع المدني في جزر الأزور لـ”فرانس برس”: “أحد الركاب أصيب بنوبة قلبية خلال الاضطرابات الجوية ونقل إلى المستشفى مع راكبين آخرين”.
